If you live in Simi Valley, are thinking about moving to Simi Valley, have friends in Simi Valley, or just plain love Simi Valley, you have got to check out this blog!
It is difficult to take the word "ultimate" seriously when you have failed to include so many truly wonderful Asian restaurants in your list. Sawasdee, which offers some of the best Thai food I've tasted anywhere, is a glaring omission, as is The Oaks Korean restaurant. Both can be found in the small shopping center located on the Southeast corner of Sequoia and Los Angeles.
For Japanese home cooking, as well as Sushi, there is Fuji, which is right next to the See's Candy Store in the center across from the Albertson's on Cochran. For a little more upscale Japanese meal, one can go to Tomodachi, located in the shopping center at E. Los Angeles and First. There are some pretty good Chinese restaurants as well, but my memory fails me at the moment.
If one really insists on eating standard American fare, you should update your article to include Cronies Sports Grill, with some of the best salads and sandwiches (plus the coldest beer) to be found in these parts.
C.... Thanks for the suggestions! While I do enjoy some Thai food, I am not so big on Asian food. I have tried a few places, but it just isn't really my cup of tea, so I forgot to mention them. Your comment is a helpful addition!
